    If you have a test that is positive for COVID-19, and it’s a viral test, you should self isolate. And it doesn’t matter if it’s a test from a test site, from your physician or a home test, if it’s positive you should be self isolating and following the basic rules for self isolation. And that basic rule really for isolation and quarantine is we have a minimum of five days and self-release is based on improving symptoms and no fever for isolation or no symptoms for quarantine. So I think the idea is that it’s five days, but you really have to assess yourself carefully. Your symptoms have to be improving, or you have to be asymptomatic. Vaccination, and boosters reduce the risk for hospitalizations for both COVID-19 and influenza.
