This is KNOWTIFY. Take a minute for your health.

Hi, my name is Molly Howell, Immunization Director for the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services. I want to remind all North Dakotans to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccines, which now for people ages 12 and older, includes the new bivalent booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The updated bivalent booster vaccine includes the Omicron variant that is the most commonly circulating variant in the United States and worldwide.

Updated COVID-19 boosters are expected to help restore protection that has waned since previous vaccination and offer better protection against newer variants. COVID-19 vaccines continue to show that they prevent severe disease, including hospitalization and death. Everyone 12 and older should receive a bivalent booster dose, and people under the age of 12 should receive recommended COVID vaccines accordingly. To find a COVID-19 vaccine, please visit vaccines.gov.
